We are excited to share this charming kitchen transformation. We removed layer upon layer of linoleum flooring, wall panelling, glued on ceiling tiles, as well as a chimney which was cutting through much needed countertop real-estate. Now decked out with SmithBuilt cabinets, Moroccan-inspired tiles, hardwood flooring, a custom breakfast nook with cushions, and a larger window; this kitchen is unrecognizable. Delightful details include that hanging bar behind the stovetop, a very heavy butcher block island, and a silk embroidered pillow that reminds us of our client’s pup!
Anna León designed and painted the artwork that hangs above the table specifically for this client, so now there are always chickens in the kitchen, and a couple of girlfriends sharing a sweetened cup of coffee.
